Nurse bullying other nurses also bully their patients this is where you file complaints against these nurses🤷♀️
theyre just jealous coz youre so handsome
This is badly run HR. Nurses should clearly be required to wear HIPPA compliant bodycams.
i remembered a white nurse asked me have you worked in ICU ? i said yes 3 years Trauma ICU , 4 years in NEURO ICU , 4 years CARDIOTHORACIC ICU , 2 years in LIVER ICU 2years CORONARY CARE UNIT , 2 years Hemodialysis .. and i asked her what about u? she just walked away..
Why are all my favorite nurse content creators not posting anymore? Did yall leave nursing ? BC LET ME KNOEWWWW IM TRYING TO LEAVR NURSING TOO😂
I’ve been a RN for 6 years and I’m already hitting severe burnout. I don’t know how much longer I will and can continue this career. The only thing I enjoy about nursing is care for my patients, I HATE everything else about nursing -from the toxic work culture, poor management and to unsafe nurse:patient ratios. It’s the worse career to be in! I regretted bedside nursing the first week of my 1st nursing job!
I am a male nurse, ans it is true thay in that profession, all the males are either feminine male, or dominant alpha......guess why ? First thing to be a nurse, get along with others on a sexual level or leave. If you don t have sex with 1/2 of your classroom, and most teachers.....you ll never be a nurse, dont believe me, try it. Nursing is about feeling and social habilities
ER nurse here. I never use gloves😂😂😂
Not uncommon in a predominantly female environment. Women always tear each other down.
Thanks for sharing… sadly your words are true but thankfully there’s still some kind nurses out there. Keep up the good work and ignore the haters… bc your video helped encouraged me today!!!
Love this video, thank you for standing up and advocating for patients
I likw the concept of how you throw ur Ads. Well done. Cheers to more reviews. 🙌🏽💯
This is so damn funny. It's true. Nursing tests have some stupid questions on there and the answers are all fair game yet only 1 answer is correct. 😂😂😂
Was fortunate enough to get healthcare job thru military. I decided to separate next year and NOT transition to civilian hospital. Some of them are just pure evil and supervisor and leadership will ignore me when I get bullied on. I'm losing all my interest and joy from work. All ppl want to do is talk behind other's back and my heart starts pounding everytime I go to work. Srsly why are ppl so mean? Aren't we there to save ppl's life? Like why put others down? Idc how much money the job brings I care more about my mental health
The mean nurses probably didn’t like themselves it makes them feel better to bring someone down. Or they are trying to fit in the mean girls club. Keep your chin up God bless you for being a good nurse we need more people like you.
Bullying is huge in health care
The professors are the bullied
Hi Alex, im in nursing school and i would like to connect with you.
Has no one heard the saying "nurses eat their young"?!? Perhaps I'm an old (read: retired) nurse who had to bounce quarters on the beds I made 🙄🙄
Right off the bat, nursing itself isn't like high school, it's Americans in all workplaces these days, they're really immature.
On one hand im exited to be a skilled professional but on the other hand you feel miserable and like everyone else😂
Same in pharmacy, so toxic. So dont come over here🚫
So glad I do vascular access nursing!! It's A LOT of walking, but relatively low stress and no load of patients, every 3rd weekend!! It's not something I want to do forever, but for now it works. Day shift only 32 hours a week, 8 hours shifts on all holidays and weekends!
Thank you for sharing. Just had a bad day in the ward today 🥺 Got bullied by a nurse for something ridiculous. Totally agreed that they just bullied other people because they dun like your look or dress etc... I wanna be a nurse because I wanna help people But working with these bad nurses just makes me wanna quit my job 😞
Philippines has a lot of great nurses, but also have a high number of TOXIC nurses especially the oldies
Transfer credits .. go to another field. Radiology
Nurses are not doing these tasks bedside. The CNA does it . Why I decided another modality. I don’t want to deal with nurses.
ugh, who do you think helps the LNA or does it themselves when there is no LNA or they are busy?!
New subscriber. Please add new videos. Like hearing about your journey
OMG ! I went to nursing school. It is rough. The students were mean, the instructors were mean and all the poop and bad behavior of the patients. I changed my major. When I did my clinical rotations I would get the worst headaches. Honestly, toxic workplaces are everywhere. Gossip, tattling, backstabbing, lying, ladder climbing, bullying, etc. Sadly that's just the way it is.
OMG just listening is stressing me out . IM retired (early) due to severe burnout...the paycheck wasn't worth my life
In no universe would Iever give my precious Yorkie milkbones. They didn't even give GOOD dog treats 🤬
The reason I appreciate these healthcare worker accounts and the comedy skits is because I had no idea what went on behind the scenes, as someone who has been abused in hospitals at a patient. It helps put things in perspective and maintain my empathy for the people who are trying to do the right thing in the most corrupt environments.
Are you an LPN? cause even in Seattle RN gets paid 40 and above and in your videos you said you live in NY. so whats going on??
Would like to know how to become a travel nurse
Thank you for sharing your experience Alex. I am a student radiographer and I am experiencing some bullying on my placement in the hospital at the moment, recently a senior radiographer started shouting at me in front of her co workers, and in front of the students that I got to uni with. honestly, I felt so embarrassed when she did that I felt like she was showing off. She was behaving as if she was more superior to me when in fact she’s supposed to show me something if I’m making any mistakes while she was shouting at me I walked off and I ended up reporting her to my line manager. Sometimes it’s important that we report these type of people so that they can be taught a lesson that it’s not acceptable to bully people in the workplace.
I work with nurses in my field for two decades, it checks out. Never worked with a mess of catty, stuck up, rude, backstabbing people that peaked in HS. Don't get me started with the infidelity.
Thank you for saying this. This happened to me too.
I experienced “Old eat their young” as a student nurse in TSICU. Our charge chose the easiest assignments and lounged around all day while my preceptor(he was also a float) and I had the hardest assignments. She proceeded to make our life a living hell and make him look like the bad guy on our unit. She proceeded to make insinuations of my preceptor, telling me to watch out for my AirPods/Electronics because there are new thieves to the unit. I told her: “well nowadays we can track our electronics on Find My. In front of the unit. To top it off she attempted to get the unit to isolate him by speaking behind his back to other team members and also giving orders to us and mandating us to reinsert a JTube but we literally told her there was back flow so it would be contraindicative and hurt the pt. I called her out on it and she shut up and wasn’t charge the following weeks we went there. In summary: New nurses/current nurses don’t be naive/manipulated into bullying others. Say something! People deal with enough stress at home!
hii can u make a video where you give an advice to nursing students how you study, how to make nursing diagnosis, or nursing documentation, etc.
Unfortunately, many nurses these days are only nurses for the money and the title. Many nurses are also the mean girls from high school... so ya can not have them in the same workplace because it'll be nothing but drama.
I had a nurse gag and make comments during an emergency,i was so stunned,my mom went and told the DR and Hr and the doctor brought her back in,reemed her azz in front of me and made her apologize,no one should ever be treated like this when they charge us so much😡
I love Labor and Delivery but the job is sad a lot of the time, the bullies are rampant, and the alarm fatigue is unreal. I have to get away
L and D was awful!! Constant adjustments, constant monitor watching, even during "lunch break", constant position changes all so the doctor can come in and do the best part and leave ten minutes later!
How is this globally a thing? How can you care for those in need when you act this way? How are they not massively reported and fired???????? I say it is a Gross Negligence of those in charge, and they should provide Mandatory examinations for the nursing intent and personality testing including monitoring via video (similar as in cops) and interviews. Any sign of such behavior and you can find some benefits to collect.
😂
LVN nope never doing that
Love how the one nurse's ick is just "you're at an 8/10 pain level but you don't want painkillers". Why is that YOUR problem?
I agree and it's not just nurses. Any of these positions, like allied health professionals. Terrible bullying.
The biggest nurse bully I know complains about being bullied! She has literally made fun of me for being gay and has told others that that is the only reason I’ve been successful as a nurse.
What cracks me up is that the biggest nurse bully I know complains about being bullied herself. This girl has called me out on being gay and that being the only reason I’ve been successful as a nurse. It’s terrible in nursing.
27 seconds in and I’m already saying “girl, keep speaking the truth!”
